Re:Zero Season 2 Part 2 English Dub comes along with the various questions arising from the release of the isekai anime series itself, produced by White Fox, following the story of Subaru and his extraordinary journey in a world which seems to be in a loop, and how will Subaru return to where he is from if he still chooses to go back.
Re: Zero – Starting Life In Another World's main protagonist is Subaru Natsuki. He was just on a normal day, going for a quick run for some supplies in a nearby convenience store, and returning to his home, when he doesn't get there at all as he gets transported to a place inhabited by both humans and demi-humans.
Confused, dazed, and lost, Subaru encountered a group of thugs who beat him up. He was fortunate enough to bump into Satella who rescued him from the thugs. Satella was just a passerby looking for an insignia stolen from her. Satella helped Subaru from the thugs and in turn, Subaru helped Satella look for the missing insignia where they ended up in a loot shop after assuming that the insignia might have been traded for money. To their surprise, it is not the insignia that they found but their death.
Subaru wakes up, not in the afterlife, but in the same day, in the same place, at the same time, in the same event, in the same group of thugs, and in the same scenario.
Re: Zero – Starting Life In Another World is based on the light novel series of the same name by Tappei Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichirou Otsuka published by Media Factory and the separate manga series and a manga anthology series titled Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World − Official Anthology Comic.
The anime series is currently in its second part of the second season. Re: Zero is a split-cour which means that the screening of the series where it is divided into two parts with a three-month TV break in between. After the 13th episode aired, there came a three-month block for the TV broadcast of the anime series, and it returned in its 14th episode after the break to complete the 25 episodes of Season 2.
Re: Zero – Starting Life In Another World airs via Crunchyroll who holds the official license to stream Re: Zero to distribute on various locations outside of Japan. Its episodes are in their original Japanese audio with English subtitles.
Recently, Crunchyroll released an announcement for the English dub of Re: Zero along with the voice cast of the show. This has happened before, the first season and the first part of the second season has the English dub released on Crunchyroll as well. The English dubbed version, however, is not simultaneous with the release of the original Japanese audio with English subtitles. It is falling behind a few weeks and a few episodes.
